    ABOUT THE AUTHOR
    Lisa Schwartz was born in Chandler, Arizona
    while her father was serving as the Dental
    Health Officer for the Pima Indian Tribe. Her
    family moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado
    where she graduated from Wasson High
    School.  Lisa received her BS in marketing
    and undeclared minors in Spanish and Fine
    Art from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
    She became the lead writer for national solid
    waste and recycling contracts and edited the
    We-Cycle Newsletter for  60,000 avid
    recyclers nationwide.

    Lisa resides in Castle Rock, Colorado with
    her husband and two children. She continues
    to enjoy writing grants, press releases, and
    articles on her daughter and children with
    special needs.

    Her next book, about raising a child with a
    rare chromosome disorder is in the planning
    phase.
